I know trying to be organized makes your brain hurt. While I’m not “type B” personality, I’ve talked to many who are and that’s what I most often hear…it just hurts to try to be organized. Or try to write out a meal plan.
But…you’ve got to know that by not meal planning, you’re likely leaving a bunch of money at the checkout lane that you don’t need to be leaving there. :/
My hope is to help make it so your brain doesn’t hurt when you sit down to write out some meal ideas for the week…and get a list of ingredients you need written up.
This concept of “theme nights meal planning” seems to work really well for my type B friends.
Why?
Because it gives you just enough structure…but lots of flexibility and freedom to be creative (and somewhat go with the flow…so long as you have the ingredients you need!)

These are a bit more in-depth, but worth a look:
Meal planning is a HUGE part of spending less money on groceries…so huge, that I spend 3 of the 10 lessons in the Grocery Budget Makeover talking about it. I feel like it’s that important, and I really want to help you find a meal planning system and routine that’s going to work for you!

P.S. Remember…”those who fail to plan, plan to fail.” You won’t start saving more money on groceries until you start planning on how you’re going to save on groceries…and meal planning is a huge part of that!
